Behold the elements in one of the season’s funkiest live music extravaganzas! Earth, Wind & Fire is following the groove to Jacksonville, Oregon, for a night of dancing and ‘70s pizzazz on Tuesday, June 24th, at the Britt Festival Pavilion. EWF's upcoming Summer Tour 2025 first announced 22 dates across the Western states. Since then, the thrice Hall of Fame-inducted band added half a dozen more stops for fans to look forward to, so polish up those buttery smooth moves you’ve been dying to show off!
Beat the heat this summer by letting it burn on the dance floor, bobbing up and down to the rhythm of the 1970s’ grooviest hits. After a jam-packed 2024 on the road with fellow legends Lionel Richie and Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire is excited to take on a solo tour that celebrates their music with North America’s most energized crowds. The band, fronted by co-founder Verdine White and early members Philip Bailey and Ralph Johnson, unfolds a catalog rife with No. 1 songs, multi-platinum records, and Grammy Award-winning performances. They offer disco era anthems such as the Hot 100 chart-topper "Shining Star" and unforgettably upbeat classics like Billboard R&B hit singles "Let’s Groove," "After the Love Has Gone," "Sing a Song," "Getaway," and the transcendental six-time Platinum "September."
EWF revolves around an orbit of the great genres of African-American origin: R&B, soul, jazz, and good old-fashioned funk. Rocking their signature kalimba, they shook the world of music in a way only a select few artists have accomplished. The band, through the decades, gained a historic list of achievements, which include six Grammys, a Kennedy Center Honor, and four American Music Awards, with inductions to the Rock and Roll, NAACP Image Award, and Vocal Group Halls of Fame. Jacksonville welcomes them with its world-class naturally formed amphitheater, surrounded by breathtaking hillside forests of lush madrones and evergreen ponderosa pines.
"Earth, Wind & Fire delivered an evening of hits and deeper cuts with a timeless elegance that made hearing classics like ‘Shining Star’ and ‘Fantasy’ feel every bit as fresh as the day they were released."
